Hong Kong

John and I arrived safe and sound in Hong Kong where we’ve been walking around for the last two days. Up to Victoria Peak, down to the Happy Valley racing course (without the horses unfortunately) and much more.

So far Hong Kong has been entertaining, but not especially great. I guess when I’m going to date with women from the Dutch Department of Foreign Affairs, those with Hong Kong on their top 3 list of places to get stationed are off my list :-)

Nevertheless, I’m glad I visited Hong Kong. Ever since I read the books by James Clavell (Tai-Pan, Noble House, etc). I have been fascinated by the history of Hong Kong.
