Ok, so I overreacted a bit during my last post. Who could’ve known that we were in the world famous Biosphere2, not in a top secret facility. And that the voices we heard were of tourists on a guided tour of the facility and not of some freakish aliens trying to kill us in the most horrible way imaginable…
After I followed the tour group out of the facility I looked around for John, but couldn’t find him. The parking lot attendant informed me that 15 minutes earlier a panicky looking white guy ran by, jumped into a car further up the road and left tires screeching.
Luckily both John and I took along our cell phones. After a quick call to John, convincing him I wasn’t being coerced into getting him to come back to the facility, he picked me up 30 minutes later and we were back on the road heading to Phoenix.
Since we didn’t get kidnapped, carjacked or shot during our short drive through Phoenix it’s not worth a storyline
Flagstaff however was more interesting. It kinda felt like a large hippie hangout, but nicely integrated into the real world. I had a magnificent Tan Russian (it’s a Dude thing) in some coffee shop and any place that has girls bubble bath wrestling on Friday nights is alright in my book

Jeroen,
Liefs,
Ma en Pa
